Episode 8: Institutional Change-Part 2
Welcome to episode 8 and the last episode of Season 1 of The ARTISTS HEAL™ Podcast. We wrap up with this season doing a bit of reflection of how the podcast and ARTISTS HEAL™ has grown, what to do in the midst of Institutional change, and sharing some excitement of where ARTISTS HEAL™ is headed in the new year.

Episode 7: Institutional Change-Part 1
In this episode, 1 of 2, we talk about Institutional Change, how this relates to this pillar, and the importance of institutional change being parallel with the work of decolonizing practice and process of dismantling of White Supremacy in collaborative art-making spaces. Join me!

Episode 6: Self & Selfhood
In this episode of the podcast, we dive into the first pillar of the ARTISTS HEAL™ Method, Self & Selfhood, and discuss the ways that these pillars are meant to A.I.D (ASK, INVITE, and DEVELOP) participants through a process that leads to the creation of effective healing and care spaces for collaborative art-making.
Users of the method are not only empowered to create communal environments where Healing Happens, but also allow the possibility of healing and restoration within their internal environments.

Episode 5: The ARTISTS HEAL™ Method & The Four Pillars
In this episode, I introduce The ARTISTS HEAL™ Method and The Four Pillars of creating healing and care spaces for collaborative art-making. The intention of many during this moment in arts and culture is to create self-liberating and equitable spaces and in here we explore:
How do we do this?
What tools do we need?
What happens when we make a mistake?
How do we continue to do this work AND navigate the harm and turmoil that comes with the upheaval of dismantling the systems and structures of White Supremacy?
This episode shares multiple ways that this method allows us to access these spaces when using these tools including but not limited to:
Identify the roles they fill in creating these spaces for themselves and others.
Reduce and redress harm in real-time through trauma-informed practice, conflict-resolution, and mediation.
Embrace the power that is derived from inter-dependence and community engagement.
Disrupt destructive structures and systems of White Supremacy while strengthening pathways that lead to healing, self-liberation, and equity.

Episode 4: Creating Community
In this episode, we discuss creating community and how important this process is to collaborative art-making. As we continue to explore decolonized practice and process we talk about concepts that work to dismantle the systems and structures of White Supremacy and the core and integral aspects used through ARTISTS HEAL™ to build community.
How we build community:
Embracing the importance of inter-dependence and acknowledging that this is where and how communities derive their strength and power and achieve communion with ourselves, each other, and audiences. Identifying a common purpose for anyone community and allowing groups of people to create unity through a common purpose and those consuming the art. Creating spaces and environments that feel self-liberating and equitable enough for people to access obstacles to healing leading to freedom from the bondage of trauma.

Episode 3: Why Healing?
In this episode. we dive into the central focus, purpose, and mission of ARTISTS HEAL™.
ARTISTS HEAL™ is designed to create healing and care spaces for collaborative art-making, while providing practical tools for healing and artistic development.
I'll share a bit about the containers in which this work is done by dismantling the systems and structures of White Supremacy, the importance of healing collectively and personally, and what healing allows us to do as artists in the process of developing our artistic communities and processes.
